Craig Watts was influenced by the Impressionists early in his career. He is a colorist at heart, with no fences or rules for his color palette for his wildlife, landscapes and abstracts. Craig seeks to capture the soul of the animal in his wildlife portraits and his vibrant colors breath energy into his landscapes and abstracts. Craig draws inspiration from the physical and spiritual elements of God’s creation, the great outdoors and the wildlife that call it home.
Craig is an elected member of the Audubon Artist and has shown at their annual Exhibition at the prestigious Salmagundi Club in Manhattan for each of the last nine years. Craig is also a Signature Member of the Boca Raton Artist Guild, an auxiliary of the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
